Sunday 28th June 2009 Family Tree Reunion and Garden Party Marquee at Home

Staffed Seated Cold Fork Buffet for 56 guests

This was a very sensitive event as it was for a family reunion from all corners of the world that had either never met or hadn’t seen each other in many years. Our client was very apprehensive of the logistics of the event and we worked towards an event where guests felt relaxed and welcome yet very spoilt by her hosting and party ideas. Guests arrived mid morning and were greeted with hot and cold beverage’s and light appropriate refreshments as some had travelled long distances on the day to get there.  For the lunch we opened a Traditional British Garden Party style fork buffet lunch of honey glazed hams, British themed tarts, dressed salmon, salads and rustic breads.  Following this they had light summer desserts garnished with soft fruits.

Being a summer and very British event we sourced all English beverages including wine, beer and soft drinks which were really popular.

This was such a unique and special occasion for us never to be repeated we wanted everything to be perfect... and it was! Arzu your manager and the team of chefs that looked after us and our guests were first class, they were discreet yet so very efficient – no-one needed anything all day it was there right before we needed to ask. My husband and I were so pleased and now can’t wait to book you for another event at home – we are very glad we found this little treasure called Magpie Catering.
